Il Salone del Mobile di Milano is one of the most important events for people in the global design industry. This year Minimal has taken the opportunity with the event to open a new showroom in Lambrate, the trendy part of the Design District in Milan. The occasion has been highlighted by the launch of the new model "M22" and the trendy collection of metal finishes. Verve with the sliding counter was also on display with an even more innovative sliding system, and so the appliances from the latest Gaggenau's range. The showroom features minimalist details like concrete floor and discreet light fittings from Davide Groppi, and it is open by appointment only. Please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you fancy to visit.
We anticipated some of Caccaro's news with Lineare 2017. This system comes now with more options and the patented system of soft-closing folding doors, which allows to build wider units and improves the access to them with not much space needed at the front of the units. A new sideboard called "Side" was also part of the new collection this year, along the room divider called "View", available as freestanding or floor-to-ceiling mounted screen. Side and View can alternatively work together as shown below.
The bed Groove has been implemented this year with more options for the headboard. The independent wall-mount bar, which combines several functions in one piece including a built-in lighting and sound system, comes in two different sizes now, so it is suitable to be used in different home environments rather than only bedrooms.
A new bed called "Tuned" has also been launched at the fair. The bed is available with or without the storage and with a few interesting options for the headboard. The one below is called Bag. It works literally like a "big pocket" to store magazines or spare blankets with a long zip for the opening running on the top of the headboard.
Saba's stand at Il Salone was full of new ideas as always. The new sofa "Avant-Apres" follows the route of the multiple configurations thanks to the special and unique armrest/backrest system that detaches with a simple movement and may be positioned all along the base. Below, the wall-hung Leyva, NY and Piu' Table stand by the new sofa to create an amazing setting.
"Quilt" is a line of seating characterized by generous sizes and cushioning. The distinct feature is the exclusive quilting on the back cushions and all along the supporting structure. The quilting is available in tone-on-tone or in contrasting colours. Below, Quilt stands next to the new round pouf "Geo", a new entry of Saba's collection.
"New York Outdoor" was the star this year. The collection is the result of careful research into materials so as to preserve the uniqueness of the original design. White-painted frame specifically treated for outdoor use and ergonomic cushions made of a quick-drying, waterproof fabric are the distintive elements of this smart collection, now available also as a two-seater sofa 139cm long.
Holo is a table featuring an original metal base with an oval hole, softly shaped by a process that involves many moulding and bending phases. A great combination of design and technology by Kristalia. This unique table is available from this year as console or coffee table too.
2017 is marked by our collaboration with Desalto. We're pleased to include in our collection their amazing range of tables and systems like 25, Element, Helsinki, Helsinki 489 or Fill, just to mention few, or the poetic collection "Softer than Steel" designed by Nendo.
A new system called Double Me has been launched this year at Il Salone. Units slide within a steel frame through an innovative mechanism of ball bearings exclusively designed by Desalto.
"Endless" is the name of the new barstool designed by Arik Levy for Desalto. The rod steel frame comes in several colour finishes and so the MDF seat. The footrest is preciously covered wit a stainless steel profile. Get in touch at email@example.com if you want to know more.
Otto, Lineo, Pola Light, just few of the products amazingly made by our new partner Crassevig. Otto represents the stool as an essential element in both domestic and public space applications, with a very strong personality. The tubular frame contains the seat and works as a footrest in a continuos shape.
Our selected products from Pedrali and Green will follow very shortly on our website. Nemea 2820 below represents a very interesting revisitation of the classic wood chair, designed by Cazzaniga+Mandelli+Pagliarulo for Pedrali.
Naos Wellness Design is a brand that will play a big part in our bathroom collection this year. Their range includes square or round vanity units entirely made of Corian®, along mirrors, storages and hangers made of the same material. Naos is literally a workshop filled with ideas, so a wide range of possibilities and customisations are available on request. Minimalist tables made entirely of Corian® will be also available within the collection called "Hubzero". More details will follow shortly.
