Ori.tami by Campeggi
An object for the house which, as suggested by its name, hides a surprise inspired by a traditional concept of multifunction. With Ori.tami, Giulio Manzoni drew in 2007 his inspiration from multifunctional tatami, the Japanese floor bed that is folded away every morning. This tatami however features Italian materials and technology. You will be surprised to see how its original fold-away configuration enables Ori.tami to be a chair or be converted into a tatami with the elegance of an origami. Armchair, chaise lounge and bed. Versatile and passepartout, Ori.tami occupies very little space too. The frame is in steel and padded in foamed polyurethane and polyester fibre. The tatami bed has a support of a polyurethane foam mattress H12cm. The fully removable cover is in Lycra Fabric Cat. 2 in the colours 060, 061, 062, 063, 064, 065, 066, 067 and 068 you see below. Ori.tami measures D91 x W79 x H65cm (the tatami bed will be W140 x D190cm). The external part is covered in fabric coated with grey polyurethane. More details in the product schedule below.
